Muslim Daily ("we", "our", or "the app") is an Islamic companion application providing prayer times, Qur'an reading, and duas. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app accesses, why, and how it is handled.
a) Location
Muslim Daily requests access to your device's location (precise and/or approximate) for the sole purpose of calculating accurate Islamic prayer times for your area. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties (other than as described under Advertising below).
If you choose to enter your location manually, GPS is never accessed.
b) Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address, and general usage information to serve ads. This data collection is governed entirely by Google's Privacy Policy . We do not receive or store any advertising data ourselves.
c) App Preferences
Settings you configure (prayer calculation method, notification preferences, Qur'an bookmarks, display preferences) are saved locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not operate any backend servers or user accounts, and we do not collect any data ourselves.
The only third-party service used is Google AdMob for displaying advertisements. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details on how AdMob handles data.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, it is retained only for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling Muslim Daily removes all locally stored preferences and data. We retain nothing on any external server.
Muslim Daily is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app's advertising is not targeted at children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will address the matter promptly.
Since we do not transmit or store your data on external servers, there is no centralised data store that could be breached. All information remains on your device, protected by your device's own security mechanisms.
